A mixture of limestone, granite and fieldstone would be best. Anything small enough that 1 man can easily lift / move would be good. You may want to check different rates for if the client wants to keep any finished sculpture vs removing the rocks after.
The cost of hiring a rock balancer (in addition to getting the stones above) is $100 for 4 hours + $25 for each additional hour.
